The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Group
Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in power within the city.
Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.
The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.
This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Combat Party
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.
At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
First, the party understands precisely where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.
The traitor then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:
- The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
- Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile location.
- The warrior and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- However, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the party access locations they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
- The strong figure and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The target is marked for death by the family.
This means them few options but to travel to Timmony in quest for Casimir.
What’s Next?
According to episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Questers and Planners tables.
Fans can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
